My Journey in Finance

My path in lending began early, giving me a comprehensive understanding of the industry from a unique perspective. I became a mortgage broker at just 17, quickly gaining valuable hands-on experience in the field.

To broaden my knowledge and expertise, I then transitioned to major financial institutions. There, I honed my skills in navigating complex loan applications and nurturing strong client relationships. This period also provided invaluable life experience, including my personal entry into the property market in my early 20s. Our first purchase wasn't typical; my husband and I invested in an industrial lot, which gave me a direct appreciation for diverse property ventures.

Afterward, I took some time to focus on our family, moving back to the remote Northern Territory town from my childhood, then settling in my husband's NSW hometown to complete our family. Most recently, I've been working alongside another broker, further solidifying my expertise in end-to-end loan processes. This invaluable experience has now led me to finally establish my own brokerage right here in my local area, ensuring a smooth, efficient, and well-organised experience for every client.

Having lived and worked across diverse regions of Australia, I bring broad market understanding and adaptability. Now firmly rooted in Mudgee, where my husband's family has been for generations, I'm deeply connected to the local community. With four children who have attended up to three separate schools/preschool/childcare and participated in various children's sports, my family is truly woven into the fabric of this vibrant town. We initially thought we'd only be here for a couple of years, but I've come to absolutely love living in Mudgee and don't think I'll ever want to leave.
